Ensuring all students have access to the arts
BURSARY PROGRAM
Here at Innovative Arts, we believe that finances should not be the reason a student cannot participate in musical theatre or drama. We recognize that many students come from marginalized backgrounds or have families who are experiencing financial hardships. Through our new financial assistance model, students can apply to be considered for open program spots at a cost that makes participation feasible for them.
How it works
We often have classes of 9 students who would benefit from a 10th actor, or find ourselves looking for a last-minute performer who is eager to step into a role in the musical!
Our bursary application form allows parents to indicate how much they would be able to pay for the specific Innovative programs their young performers are interested in. Whenever we have open spots, or need additional performers in those programs, students who have applied for financial assistance will be offered the opportunity to join at the cost specified in the bursary application form.
All of our Innovative students will receive the same quality of training and have equal opportunities in the program, regardless of the tuition amount they pay.
